Azienda Agricola Pinzi Pinzuti. This is certainly among the most interesting in the neighbourhood. They produce high quality oil and wine as well as traditionally made cheeses, both fresh and matured. We particularly recommend their ricotta, a cheese much used in local dishes. |

The Lombardi and Visconti workshop in Abbadia San Salvatore produces liqueurs from medicinal plants found on Monte Amiata.They use recipes from the monks of the ancient Cistercian Abbey as well as recipes that Aurelio himself has created.He also closely monitors the various plants with other expertherbalists. Their best liqueur is L’Amaro Stilla, or L’Imperiale. |

La Pasticceria Flamini is one of the oldest bakery and cake shops on Monte Amiata.Fabiano is the master baker and continues a family tradition that has been going on for centuries. Savoury biscuits of Roccalbegna, and Christmas cakes and sweets are his specialities. His shop is in the heart of Semproniano and there is he willing to give our clients lessons. |

The Bonelli pork butcher’s in Castel del Piano is one of the oldest on Monte Amiata.Samuele, the owner, is a great specialist in meat from the Sienese pig and produces hams, bacon, cheek and chops. In the shop you can buy a selection of cuts which he himself has butchered and prepared. |
